SHERIDAN — Sheridan Memorial Hospital staff members are seeking a design for the organization’s 2017 Christmas card.

Entries will be accepted from Sheridan County students in grades three through five.

Artwork provided by students will be judged by a committee and the overall winner’s design will be used on the card sent out in December 2017. In addition to recognition on the card, the winner will receive a $50 cash prize. All entries will be displayed in the hospital lobby (space permitting) throughout the Christmas season. Entries must be turned in or mailed by Nov. 27.

Entry forms are available at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital admissions desk, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Gould Street offices or on the hospital website at www.sheridanhospital.org.

The theme of the Christmas card is the birth of Jesus or the nativity story.

Artwork submitted must be approximately 8.5-by-11 inches in size.

Staff ask that students do not fold artwork and do not include a mat or border. The artwork should not be mechanically or electronically generated and must be an original creation of the child. Artwork should be in color and the child’s name should be neatly printed on the back side of the artwork. Only one entry per child is permitted.

Artwork along with an entry form must be turned in to Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s downtown location on the corner of Gould and Works streets, the hospital admissions desk or mailed to Sheridan Memorial Hospital, 1401 W. Fifth St., Sheridan, WY 82801 by Nov. 27.
