SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Recreation District will host the third of its summer hikes Friday.

The hike will go to the Black Mountain Fire Lookout.

The cost to attend is $25 per trip, or sign up for all of the remaining treks planned for the summer.

The fee includes transportation, qualified supervision, a snack and water. You can register at the SRD office, located at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park, or by calling 674-6421.

The summer hikes are geared for children ages 10-13.
