SHERIDAN — Our Camp, Inc., a summer camp for individuals with disabilities will hold its inaugural bowl-a-thon Saturday. Two bowling times are available: 11 a.m. to noon or noon to 1 p.m.
The event will be held at Cloud Peak Lanes in Sheridan. Participants can participate as individuals or teams of 2-5 bowlers and are being asked to secure donations for their participation.
All proceeds benefit Our Camp, Inc., a volunteer-run nonprofit summer camp serving individuals of all ages with disabilities. Founded in 1992 by the “Baker Sisters” of Sheridan, Our Camp has provided thousands of campers and volunteers the opportunity to build friendships and make memories through the camping experience. Camps occur each year in Story and Glendo, and serve campers from around the region.
Bowl-a-thon proceeds will fund scholarships for campers who may not otherwise be able to attend due to financial limitations.
