SHERIDAN — Children, Horses and Adults in PartnerShip Equine Assisted Therapy represented Sheridan County at the Special Olympics Summer Classic Equestrian Games in Casper this past weekend.

Chloe Laumann, Rachel Koltiska and Fallyn Ragsdale traveled to Casper to compete in three classes each: working trail class, stock seat equitation and the two-man relay race.

Laumann came home with one gold and two silver medals. Koltiska came home with three silver medals and Ragsdale came home with one gold, one silver and one bronze.

Accompanying the girls were CHAPS instructor Christina Pescatore, CHAPS staff members Kristen Marcus and Gina Marchese, CHAPS volunteers Cindy Trumble and Sherry Buck as well as friends and family. Three horses, Sabre, Bear and Pede made the trip for the girls to ride in competition.
