SHERIDAN — The People Assistance Food Bank will hold their annual Memorial Day food drive Friday through Monday.

This is their largest food drive of the year and the goal is to restock their shelves after the winter months.

Food will be collected from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Warehouse Market, Safeway, Kmart, Walmart and Albertsons.

The People Assistance food wagon will be at Albertsons from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. serving pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and salad.
They will also be selling tickets for two raffle prizes as part of their 2013 fundraising activities.

The prizes are a Rock River Arms LAR-15 Elite Comp .223 rifle and an 8-foot-by-8-foot playhouse, including a porch, windows and front door with a screen.

Tickets are $10 each or three for $25.

The drawing will be held in front of JC Penney after the Sheridan-Wyo-Rodeo parade July 12. You do not need to be present to win.
