SHERIDAN — A 52-year-old man found lying in an alley early Wednesday morning appears to have been involved in a fight and subsequently struck by a vehicle, police confirmed this morning.
The man was found in the 100 block of North Main Street behind the Beaver Creek Saloon at about 3 a.m. Wednesday. According to a media release from the Sheridan Police Department, the man was naked from the waist down and had serious injuries to his head and abrasions to his body.
The victim was immediately transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
Suspects in the case have been identified and police officials expect charges will be filed. The matter is still under investigation by law enforcement.
