SHERIDAN — Dollie Iberlin from Buffalo will present a program to the Sheridan County Historical Society on April 29 at 7 p.m. at the Downtown Sheridan Association’s Community Room.

Iberlin will talk about the Volga Germans from Russia who immigrated to the Clear Creek Valley in Johnson and Sheridan Counties to grow sugar beets.

Iberlin’s father, Fred Brug, was a child when his family came to Wyoming from Russia.

The program will feature personal stories, German music and family memorabilia.

The program will last approximately an hour and light refreshments will be served.

There is no charge, but donations will be gladly accepted.
