Re: Aug. 19 primary

I have had the pleasure of knowing state Rep. Kathy Coleman since she began her term in the House of Representatives. My first experience with Rep. Coleman was during my attendance of a Labor, Health, and Social Services committee meeting. She was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and engaged in the meeting and discussions. She demonstrated much attention to the issues presented and appeared to have passion for the best interests of the citizens of Sheridan County and the state of Wyoming. I was initially impressed by Rep. Coleman’s ambition before actually having the opportunity to meet her.

If you have not had the chance to meet her, you should. Rep. Coleman is very approachable. She will engage you in intelligent conversation and internalize the concerns you have. She cares. If she does not have an immediate answer to your questions, she will do the research and address, to you personally, the answers you have been anticipating. I know this because she has done this for me.

Rep. Coleman is an amazing role model. As a single mother myself, I am encouraged by the excellence she has demonstrated. She has two successful businesses, a 16-year-old son who is a role model for his peers, and she is still able to proficiently represent the wonderful citizens of our county and their best interests for the state. She is a wonderful inspiration and creates synergy to build our economy the way it should be built based on the values of our community and state.
