SHERIDAN— Help the Sheridan Jaycees raise funds to prevent malaria in Africa.

On Thursday, Aug. 7, there will be a family fun event at Kendrick Park starting at 6 p.m.

There will be live entertainment from the Boot Hill band, dance lessons, silent auction, food vendors and adult beverages.

This is a fundraiser for Nothing but Nets, an international organization that supplies bed nets to African families. The event is free, but donations are appreciated.
