SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Broncs ended their soccer season at regionals in Gillette on Thursday night. The Broncs played Cheyenne East and lost 2-1.

“We will continue to grow over the summer at camps,” head coach Kevin Rizer said.

The Broncs’ Dontae Crow scored a goal in the first eight minutes of the game.

Rizer said both teams played well in the first half. In the second half, the Broncs gave up a goal and East was able to get another goal 20 minutes into the second half. The Broncs couldn’t get the ball in the back of the net after that.

“With a young team I feel everything starts with the football team and rolls from there,” Rizer said. “We like the athletes to play other sports to help them get competitive and stay in shape.”
