SHERIDAN — There will be a lunar eclipse tonight and the Sheridan College science center will open their doors for a viewing.

From 11:30 p.m. tonight until 2 a.m. tomorrow the telescope at the observatory in the SC Museum of Discovery in the Mohn’s Center will be open.

All members of the community are invited to visit for free.

The schedule of the lunar eclipse is as follows:

11:58 p.m. partial eclipse begins

1:07 a.m. total eclipse begins

1:46 a.m. greatest eclipse

2:25 a.m. total eclipse ends

3:33 a.m. partial eclipse ends
