SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College Rodeo team competed at Colorado State University over the weekend. The men’s team placed third with 375 points and the women’s team placed fifth with 70 points.

In saddle bronc riding the Generals had back-to-back placers, with Zeke Thurston placing second with 131 points and Dillon Barkshire placing third with 131 points. Taygen Schuelke placed sixth with 122 points and Kash Deal placed seventh with 59 points.

Tate Schwagler placed fifth in bareback riding with 139 points. Cashlee Cunningham and Cash Hetzel placed eighth in team roping with a time of 9.7 seconds. Annie Eaves placed second with a time of 37.64 seconds in barrel racing. Teddi Schwagler placed fourth in goat tying at a time of 16.4 seconds.

The Generals will compete at Torrington April 4-6.
