SHERIDAN — Four more Sheridan Bronc swimmers earned state qualifying times Friday in Gillette during the 4A Northeast Conference two-day championship meet.

Coach Brent more said the team had a great preliminary round with Trinton Myers earning a state qualifying time in the 100-yard butterfly, Jacob Eckard earning a spot in the 100 backstroke. Drew Reed and Presley Felker also earned state qualifying times in the 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle respectively.

Sheridan’s 400-yard freestyle relay team consisting of Felker, Myers, Eckard and Zach Ahlstrom took third place.

Team scores were not planned to be available until today, the second day of competition.
