SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Hawks (6-4) split their games against the Laramie Outlaws (2-8) this weekend in Sheridan.

Friday night’s win of 5-2 was a team effort. Logan Garstad and Grif Milner each scored a goal and had an assist, Jess Edens had two assists and Riley Simmons had an assist.

Barak Broad, Will Ohlson and Lane Barten scored as well.

On Saturday the Hawks lost 4-8, with Garstad getting a goal and an assist.

Jess Edens, Lane Eisenman and Riley Simmons each had one goal and Grif Milner had one assist.

“On Saturday we were outplayed by Laramie in all aspects of the game,” head coach Zane Garstad said, “and we will use this as a learning experience for the team.”

The boys are away this weekend to face Pinedale (5-3) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Sheridan swept Pinedale at home before Christmas.
