CASPER — Sheridan County was two for two in elimination games Friday morning, as Arvada-Clearmont stayed alive at the 1A girls state tournament.

Playing Ten Sleep at Casper College in the early 9 a.m. slot, the Lady Panthers pounded the Lady Pioneers 46-22. A-C fell to defending state champs Little Snake River Thursday morning out of the winners bracket, but will now play for the consolation title at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Casper Events Center.

Shayna Kretschman scored 20 points, Bailey Roebling added 14 and Keely Rockafellow chipped in 10 as the Lady Panthers used a 19-5 third-quarter run to pull away from Ten Sleep. A-C was up 15-11 at halftime, but outscored the Lady Pioneers 28-11 in the second half.

Their Saturday morning opponent will be the winner of a game between Burlington and Kaycee.
