SHERIDAN — The Raymond Plank Creative Center will have two Christmas events this season. Their first community Christmas celebration will be Dec. 14 from 4-6:30 p.m.

Festivities will include Christmas carols sung by local students, a book signing by the Raymond Plank Creative Center founder, Raymond Plank, food, children’s craft projects and gifts, fireworks and the lighting of 23,000 lights throughout the park.

Their second annual Christmas reading will take place Dec. 22 at 4:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to sit by the fire as Craig Johnson reads from his new Walt Longmire Christmas story, “Spirit of Steamboat.”

Refreshments will be served.

Both events will be held at the center which is located in the Park at Ucross on the corner of Highway 14 and Highway 16 in Ucross.
