Gun show set for Friday through Sunday


SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Sportsman semiannual gun show will be Friday through Sunday at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds exhibit hall.

The gun show will feature vendors from all over the region.

The show is open Friday from 3-7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost is $6 per person and children 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge.

Story school hosting fall festival


STORY — Story Elementary School will have a fall festival Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at 103 Fish Hatchery Road in Story.

The festival will offer family photos, a cakewalk, games and more.

A chili cook-off will be held as a fundraiser to help purchase gym equipment for the school.

The admission to the festival is free and there is a $25 entry fee for the chili cook-off.

The Wyoming Room to hold book signing


SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Room at Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library has published a book titled “Now and Then: Photographic History in Honor of the 125th Anniversary of Sheridan County.”

A book signing will be held Thursday from 1-3 p.m. in the lobby of First Interstate Bank, 4 S. Main St.

Researchers and writers who worked on the book will be available to sign copies of the book, which will also be for sale at the event.

There will also be two panoramic prints of historic photographs of Sheridan for sale.

The book and the prints each cost $40.
