SHERIDAN — It may only be April, but the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce announced this week that the organization’s Christmas Stroll Committee has launched its annual competition for this year’s Christmas Stroll button design.

The group has already distributed the entry forms to each elementary school in Sheridan County.

The contest is open to all Sheridan County students in grades one through six, inviting them to create a colorful design conveying this year’s Christmas Stroll theme, “Home for the Holidays.”

In addition to recognition, the winner will receive a certificate of Chamber Bucks worth $100 redeemable at any Chamber member business.

Additional entry forms are available at the Sheridan County Chamber office at the Fifth Street Visitors Center and on the Chamber’s website.

Entries are due May 10.This year’s Christmas Stroll is set to take place Nov. 29.
