SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College men’s soccer team used its first home game to earn its first win Monday.

Corbin Shriner (Cheyenne) got two second half goals and pushed the Generals past Western Nebraska Community College Monday afternoon at Sheridan High School. The game was pushed back from the weekend after the snowstorm. Sheridan College’s women’s team fell 1-0 to Western Nebraska, following the men’s game.

Teams play three more home games apiece Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

In another rescheduled game from Saturday, the Lady Generals volleyball team swept Laramie County Community College (25-17, 25-18 and 25-15) Monday at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome. Stats: Britney Titensor had 13 kills and 14 digs; Jill Espeland 15 digs, 2 aces; Jenna Jordan 22 assists.
